If you register for a course after the week of February 22, 2019, you will be charged an additional $25 registration fee.

WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS
(12 Week Course)
This course is designed to train operators in the practical aspects of operating and maintaining water distribution systems, emphasizing safe practices and procedures. Topics include the role and duties of water distribution system operators, procedures for operating and maintaining clear wells and storage tanks, components and characteristics of distribution system facilities, operating and maintaining distribution systems, maintaining water quality in the system, disinfecting new and repaired facilities as well as water delivered to consumers, and techniques for recognizing hazards and developing safe procedures and programs. Operators learn to analyze and solve problems when they occur and perform mathematical calculations commonly associated with operating a distribution system.

NOTE: Classroom registrations are accepted until February 18, 2019.
Registrations received after January 25, 2019, could result in a February 18, 2019, delivery of textbooks. Until September 18, 2018, classes will be conducted using the OTCO’s Course Workbook, Environmental Math, Recommended Standards and Ohio EPA Regulations.
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
OTCO makes a decision to offer each course based upon community interest, determined by advanced registration. OTCO reserves the right to cancel a course if there is insufficient enrollment.
Due to the minimum registration requirements at each location, OTCO has a NO REFUND Policy effective 10 days BEFORE the classroom start date of your class. If a student’s first choice location is cancelled, OTCO will offer a second choice or a full refund for the class. Non-attendance does not mean an automatic withdrawal. You must contact OTCO at (614) 268-6826 to cancel your registration.
