2019 Spring Advance Water Classroom Course Online Registration

​If you register for a course after the week of February 22, 2019, you will be charged an additional $25 registration fee.

ADVANCE WASTEWATER (14 Week Course)
In the Advance Wastewater Course, students will be exposed to the design and planning of wastewater treatment facilities. They are provided with an understanding in hydraulics, chemistry, laboratory, preliminary and primary treatment, ponds, natural systems, trickling filters, activated sludge, chemical treatment and filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection, nutrients removal, aerobic and anaerobic digestion, residuals solids management, and plant management. A reasonably good grasp of basic mathematics is necessary for this course.

Text Books Include:

  • Advance Wastewater Treatment (CSUS)
  • OTCO Advance Wastewater Workbook (2017)


NOTE: Classroom registrations are accepted until February 18, 2019.
Registrations received after January 25, 2019, could result in a February 18, 2019 delivery of textbooks. Until February 18, 2019, classes will be conducted using the OTCO’s Course Workbook, Environmental Math, Recommended Standards and Ohio EPA Regulations.

​​CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
​OTCO makes a decision to offer each course based upon community interest, determined by advanced registration. OTCO reserves the right to cancel a course if there is insufficient enrollment. 

Due to the minimum registration requirements at each location, OTCO has a NO REFUND Policy effective 10 days BEFORE the classroom start date of your class. If a student’s first choice location is cancelled, OTCO will offer a second choice or a full refund for the class. Non-attendance does not mean an automatic withdrawal. You must contact OTCO at (614) 268-6826 to cancel  your registration.

If you are paying by credit card you will receive a credit card receipt via email or regular mail within 5-7 business days.
